bugis n batman

the batman tee i bought from uniqlo vivo has a slight slanted design, i wonder if it's on purpose. my ideal design was the dark knight rises broken glass design which they ran out of medium. 


i head down to bugis jn tonight to grab the original design i wanted, also it's where shaun saw the t-shirt after giving me the tip. couldnt find uniqlo but saw the poster of it and the dark knight promo poster - to spend $120 and above to get a sure win lucky dip.


my first encounter was DC shop. they have this nice batman tee with the nolan bat logo in front and the wording "the dark knight rises" in foil on the back, a hefty $69.90, but hey it can make up my $120. next while hunting for uniqlo n the redemption counter i was near kino. i knew i can pick up my diablo 3 novel with my renewed kino member card. the novel was on a fixed 20% off, guess it's not selling well. i found a book with my wife's approval for the boy, a animals book by my fave publisher, DK. next a good catch, the dark knight gadget files book .... and the total price after discount, $128.


i had saw the batmobil in history toys at TRU yesterday, shuan had showed me the tumbler on FB photo while i never knew they were done by hot wheels. i've always love the tumbler and the hot toys version is really too steep n huge for my home, this seems appropriate, but strangely at bugis, it's not there. the lady said they dont have this toy. now at this moment as i'm typing, i know why it's not there, shuan got it from bugis OG not bugis BHG, what a freaking blunder.


so now the dip. bugis junction had their dip fully redeemed, but luckily i can get a dip at bugis+ .... and that's where uniqlo is. and to my freaking amazement, thats what i wanted, i got the t-shirt in amazing M size and it's the movie breaking glass design !!!!!


still i had to go uniqlo to check the t-shirt i had intended to buy, i couldnt find it for like 10mins, so i asked a pinoy on where can i find the batman t-shirts, and she goes "huh" .... i flap my batwings and she said "oh" ..... more than words i say. and i checked the design i had indeed all the M size had a slight crooked logo, except for XL. and obviously i skipped the design i made the whole trip for .....


and of course there was the rilakuma shop, so the family have to check out bugis+ this weekend, after the ubin boatride that i promised my boy.
